Pirate Sails Micro War Game

Dear Fellow Gamers,

I am happy to announce the release of my own very first FREE print and play war game: Pirate Sails.

I originally began designing this game because I have a brother who is serving a two year service mission for his church. He moves around a lot and doesn't always have a lot of time or space for gaming. As a result, I thought I might try to design a few very small, very light print and play games to send to him that he and his fellow volunteers can play easily without too much cost or time commitment.

I hadn't ever planned on releasing this for general use, but after being a part of the Wargamers group on Facebook, I decided there may be at least a handful of people out there interested in trying it.

Pirate Sails is my first war game design. I made it even before I played any war games myself (not including Axis and Allies and Risk). It is a simplistic record keeping style war game where each player controls 1-4 pirate ships all fighting it out for supremacy.

You can download it for FREE from the Wargame Vault.
